Breitling presents Special-Edition Superocean Heritage for partner retailer Kapoor Watch Company

Limited to 50 pieces, Breitling unveils Special-Edition Superocean Heritage exclusively for the Indian market
Breitling has introduced an exclusive Special-Edition Superocean Heritage in collaboration with its partner retailer, Kapoor Watch Company. The limited edition to 50 pieces, this watch pays tribute to the original 1950s Superocean design. Drawing inspiration from the 1950s original Superocean, the watch comes with a green dial with triangular-shaped hands coated with green Super-LumiNova®, and there’s a date window at 6 o’clock. The 42mm stainless steel case is complemented by an 18K red gold unidirectional ratcheted bezel and a polished ceramic ring.
Head of Communications & Operations at Kapoor Watch Company, Pratiek Kapoor, shared his pride in unveiling the exclusive Breitling Superocean Heritage. He emphasized that this limited edition watch not only strengthens its longstanding partnership with the brand but also presents Breitling's aesthetic tailored specifically for the Indian market.

The watch is driven by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B20, a COSC-certified chronometer based on the Tudor Caliber MT5612, beating at 4 Hz and offering a power reserve of about 70 hours. It comes with a sporty "mesh-styled" rubber strap with a folding clasp.

Breitling first introduced the SuperOcean line in the 1950s. The collection featured unidirectional ratcheted bezels, oversized hands, and luminescent markers in various dial colours. While most SuperOcean watches had COSC-certified chronometer movements and all offered extreme water resistance, the Superocean Chronograph M2000 also allowed water resistance up to 2000 metres. The watches also had helium valves to provide pressure resistance.

Pradeep Bhanot, Managing Director of Breitling India, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, "We're thrilled to launch this special edition Superocean Heritage with our esteemed retail partner, Kapoor Watch Company. The Superocean Heritage has evolved beyond being a mere diver's watch; it now stands as a sporty and elegant timepiece that we believe will captivate the Indian audience."
