The 'Art of Fusion' is a conerstone in Hublot's design narrative, and the latest proof of that is the watch that brand launched during Dubai Watch Week 2021. The Classic Fusion Chronograph Concrete Sand is Hublot’s new chronograph featuring, as the name suggets, both concrete and sand.
Launched in collabration with Ahmed Seddiqui & Sons, UAE's top watch and jewellery retailers, on ocassion of UAE's golden jubilee, the 45mm watch has a case sculpted from composite concrete, its dial incorporates desert sand, and the strap is made of camel leather. The idea was to bring historic materials, which are an integral to the city's history and culture, to the wrist of the wearer. As a result, the 100-piece limited edition watch features actual sand from the UAE. According to Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO, Hublot, “We are happy to celebrate the UAE’s 50th anniversary with our partners Ahmed Seddiqui & Sons by launching this special edition which is a perfect representation of the nations’s creativity and ingenuity. We are looking forward to seeing the watch on the wrists of Hublotistas and collectors in the Emirates.”
Beating inside the watch is the HUB1143 Type self-winding chronograph movement, and the watch is water-resistant to 50 metres, and has a power reserve of 42 hours.
