Breitling introduced the Chronomat Six Nations, a limited-edition watch series

In a new partnership with the Six Nations Rugby, Breitling has introduced a unique timepiece for all the six competing national teams, limited to 150-piece each
Breitling entered a new partnership with the Six Nations Rugby which started on February 4 with Guinness Six Nations and became its Official Timing Partner, as well as of the Autumn Nations Series, the Women’s Six Nations and the 2023 RWC warm-up matches. For each union and federation that constitutes the Six Nations Rugby (England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France and Italy), Breitling has designed a dedicated watch, each of which is a limited edition of 150 pieces.

Collaborating with significant players from each of the six teams, Breitling has chosen seven personalities to represent the new Chronomat Six Nations watches in their native countries - Kyle Sinckler (powerhouse prop) for Chronomat B0142 Six Nations England (Ref. AB0134A71A1A1); Conor Murray (three times champion) for Chronomat B0142 Six Nations Ireland (Ref. AB0134A91L1A1); George North (a top scorer) for Chronomat B0142 Six Nations Wales (Ref. AB0134A61K1A1); Hamish Watson (2021 Player of the Championship) and Stuart Hog (two times Championship’s top performer) for Chronomat B0142 Six Nations Scotland (Ref. AB0134A51C1A1); Gaël Fickou (2022 Grand Slam winner) for Chronomat B0142 Six Nations France (Ref. AB0134A81C1A1); and Paolo Garbisi (star fly-half) for Chronomat B0142 Six Nations Italy (Ref. AB0134A41C1A1).

Designed initially for Frecce Tricolori, the Italian Air Force aerobatic display team, the Chronomat is famous among aviators and Formula 1 teams, especially for its tachymeter and is considered an ideal tool for athletes on land, air and sea.

The 42mm stainless steel watches are designed with a unidirectional ratcheting bezel with raised rider tabs at 15 min marks and an easy-grip crown. The dials coloured with the union colours feature three subdials at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. The one at 6 o’clock has an integrated date aperture and the 9 o’clock subdial features the union’s logo. Indexes and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® and the dial is capped with cambered sapphire crystal. The sapphire glass caseback features the union’s logo with “ONE OF 150” and “Six Nations” engraved on the metal.

Automatic Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 powers the watches offering about 70 hours of the reserve with an integrated COSC-certified chronometer. The watches are water-resistant to about 200 metres and are worn with stainless-steel rouleaux bracelet with butterfly clasp.

These limited edition timepieces are available to buy in the UK and select EU countries.
