H. Moser & Cie’s Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon is for one year only

That said, the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon isn’t quite the salmon you have come to expect
H. Moser and Cie’s Streamliner is one of the most distinct designs in the brand’s arsenal - the watch's integrated bracelet and rounded case inspired by the first high-speed trains of the 1920s and 1930s. Since the line was launched in 2020, the collection has served as the perfect canvas to showcase the brand’s innovations, be it material (the Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack) or technical (Streamliner Perpetual Calendar). Its time-only model, the Streamliner Centre Seconds has also grabbed attention for its dial colour. Following the 2020 Green Dragon, the brand has now introduced the  H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Centre Seconds in Smoked Salmon, a hue unlike the traditional salmon colour.

The fume dial, which darkens towards the edges, is inspired by the rare cousin of the traditional Atlantic salmon, the 'Oncorhynchus kisutch'. Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie. says “Each individual fish is smoked using a secret recipe made using Scottish whisky. This is what gives the flesh this exceptional colour, and is the inspiration behind our new dial."

While the colour in itself is different, what gives the dial further uniqueness is the finish on it. The griffé finish, found only on special editions - this model is set to be available for one year only - plays with light to create a spectrum of hues. In this case, everything from chocolate through to gold comes alive on the dial. On it rests an H. Moser & Cie. logo in transparent lacquer. The hour markers are applique indexes, and the hour and minute hands feature the proprietary Globolight® inserts, an innovative ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova®.

To dive into specifics, the H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon (Ref. 6200-1207,) is a 40mm steel watch with an integrated bracelet whose links feature a gentle wave. The dial is topped with by a subtly domed sapphire crystal, and the watch has a see-through caseback. The case features brushed and polished finishes, and the watch is water-resistant to 120 metres.

Powering the H. Moser & Cie’s Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon is the HMC 200 automatic calibre, developed and produced in-house. The movement is equipped with a large, engraved, solid gold oscillating weight, and guarantees a minimum three-day power reserve.
