Omega X Swatch has successfully launched several Bioceramic MoonSwatch timepieces. Most recent of these, introduced in March this year, was the 'Mission to the Moonphase' (Ref. SO33W700), Swatch’s first moonphase complication with a chronograph movement, which highlighted NASA's safety mascot Snoopy on its moonphase counter positioned at 2 o’clock. Now, the collection welcomes the Mission to the Super Blue Moonphase (Ref. SO33N700), which celebrates both sunny days at the beach and the first blue moon of the year, which will be sighted on August 19.
The Omega X Swatch Mission to the Super Blue Moonphase features a 42mm blue bioceramic case, crown, pushers, and a blue pulsometer scale on the bezel. The dial of the watch is blue and silver-opaline, incorporated with the 'OMEGA X Swatch' logo at 12 o’clock, along with Speedmaster and MoonSwatch logos on the left and right below the subdials at 9 and 3 o’clock.
The moonphase subdial at 3 o’clock shows the oversized blue moon, detailed with UV ink to display the different-shades of blue. There is also a seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, Grade A Super-LumiNova® coated hands and hour markers.
Powering the latest timepiece is the quartz movement and completing it is a blue VELCRO® strap with contrasting light blue topstitching, and an attachment loop in blue Bioceramic. The watch is resistant to water up to 30 metres.
Customers can avail this watch from August 1 till August 19 (the date of the full moon) at select Swatch stores and pop-up stores. The watch is priced at ₹27,800.
