Geneva Watch Days 2024: Breitling introduces its first ever perpetual calendar chronograph movement in the novelties

In tune with the year-long celebrations of Breitling’s 140 years, the brand has unveiled new timepieces in the Premier, Navitimer, and Chronomat lines, all equipped with Caliber B19, a perpetual calendar chronograph movement.
The year 2024 marks 140 years of Breitling and the brand has kept the spirits high for its anniversary since the beginning of the year. Breitling has now introduced a new limited 140th-anniversary edition in each of its PremierNavitimer, and Chronomat collections, all housed with the brand’s new Caliber B19, a perpetual calendar chronograph movement. Alongside the chronograph, the movement drives the full calendar and moonphase complications, such that the leap years and month with varying days (28, 30, and 31) are automatically corrected without requiring any major adjustment. The movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz and offers a power reserve of about 96 hours. The movement’s rotor is made with solid gold and is engraved with Breitling’s historic Montbrillant Manufactory located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
