Longines adds three new colours to its Flagship Heritage line

The three new colours added to the collection include Havana beige, anthracite, and green
Longines’s legendary Flagship Heritage line, which was first released in 1957 and is known for its technical and aesthetic details, welcomes three new dial colours - Havana beige, anthracite and green - to welcome autumn. The latest iterations follow in the footsteps of the silver and blue dial watches released in the line last year.

The legacy of the 1950s
Longines' Flagship , a combination of refined, simple design and high precision, was one of the brand's most sought-after watches in the 1950s. Over the past 60 years, little has changed in this successful combination of first-class mechanics and elegance. Now the brand with the winged hourglass in its logo, is expanding the Flagship Heritage line to include three models with a moonphase display in tasteful colours, that are in tune with muted tones and the festive season.

The sunburst finish dials skilfully showcase the minimalist elegance of the 1950s and pay tribute to the aesthetic standards of the historical collection. The slightly domed dials feature eleven applied indexes, either rhodium-plated or rose gold-plated, and faceted hour and minute hands in matching colours. The star of the dial is the moon phase display at 6 o'clock, which is combined with a pointer date. The Earth's satellite can be seen on it with an entourage of tiny stars.

The satin-finished stainless steel case also impresses with its understated design and has a contemporary diameter of 38.5 millimetres. The case back has a special finesse: an 18-carat gold medallion embossed with a caravel. It shows the mighty sailing ship at full speed on a deep blue sea, hand-painted in enamel.

A powerful calibre

The new timepieces are powered by the exclusive Longines calibre L899.5 , equipped with a silicon balance spring and other innovative components that offer particularly high resistance to magnetic fields. The automatic movement also has a power reserve of up to 72 hours.

The elegance is underlined by the brown, anthracite or black leather straps. They are fitted with a Heritage pin buckle made of stainless steel. The price of the timepieces is Rs. 2,47,000 (approx.)
