Cartier presents the mini versions of its popular collections

Cartier’s Tank, Américaine, Baignoire, Panthère, and Tortue now come in elegantly reduced sizes
As the reduced case sizes gain popularity in the watch industry, Cartier has presented four of its most sought-after collections in their mini versions, there’s the Tank, Américaine, Baignoire, Panthère, and a limited-edition Tortue. To fit in the new dimensions, the movement is also miniaturised—all the novelties feature quartz movement.

The classic Tank Louis Cartier watch now comes 24mm x 16.5mm case crafted in yellow gold with a grained silvered dial, featuring Roman numerals and blued sword-shaped hands. The crown is set with sapphire and the watch is flanked with a shiny black alligator leather strap.

Two Américaine watches join the Tank collection, with a stretched case profile, the timepieces measure 28mm x 15.2mm. One model is crafted in white gold and studded with diamonds on the case, crown, and the bracelet; the other is crafted in yellow gold with a sapphire crown and a navy blue alligator leather strap. Both watches have a silvered sunray dial with Roman numerals and blued-steel sword- shaped hands.

The Panthère de Cartier collection gets three new models—Two of them measuring 25mm x 19mm, and crafted in yellow gold with sapphire cabochon or rose gold studded with diamonds; the third timepiece measures  29mm X 37mm and is made in yellow gold and steel, with a synthetic blue spinel crown. All three have silvered dial and blued-steel sword-shaped hands.

The mini Baignoire de Cartier watches are unveiled in six new models, five of them measuring 24.6mm x 18.7mm, and one is 32mm x 26mm. Three watches are crafted in yellow gold and the other three come in white gold with diamonds, including the larger model, flanked with metal bracelet or leather strap. The dials are silvered with blue hands and Roman numerals, or a clean black dial with golden-finish steel hands.

The iconic Tortue watch is now presented in a 26.15mm x 20.9mm yellow gold case accentuated with beige lacquer, a white opaline dial, and a sapphire cabochon crown. There are Roman numerals and gold-finished sword-shaped hands. The timepiece is flanked with a beige textured calfskin strap, and is a limited edition of 150 pieces.
