Louis Erard and Vianney Halter join hands to bring a new limited edition Le Régulateur

The new Le Régulateur Louis Erard X Vianney Halter is limited to 178 pieces
The independent Swiss watch brand Louis Erard frequently collaborates with watchmakers and designers to bring forth distinctive horological pieces, and Vianney Halter is one of them. The brand first collaborated with the watchmaker in 2020 to release the Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Vianney Halter. This time, the two have once again joined hands to bring out a new limited edition piece, the Le Régulateur Louis Erard X Vianney Halter II.

The new timepiece has two variants - One is a red-gilt dial base version with rhodium plated circular satin-brushed chapter ring and counter ring (Ref. 85246AA03.BVA172), exclusive to retail stores. The other has a rhodium-plated dial base with red-gilt 5N plated circular satin-brushed chapter ring and counter ring(Ref. 85246AA02.BVA172), exclusively for e-commerce. Both novelties measure 43mm and are encased in polished and circular satin-brushed stainless steel. There are rivets on the crown, which is at 2 o’clock, and the case.

The asymmetric dial designed by the watchmakers entails a Louis Erard logo at 2 and Vianney Halter’s name at 8 o’clock. To read the time, one can see the off-centered hour dial at 11 o’clock, central hand for minutes, and a small seconds subdial at 5 o’clock. The hands are blued steel, a signature of the watchmaker, and the markings are black.

Seen through the sapphire crystal caseback is the automatic Sellita movement SW266-1 boasting a power reserve of about 38 hours. A dark brown grained calf leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching flanks the cases. Both watches are a limited edition of 178 pieces.
