Ressence brings Type 9 in warm Grey and fresh Aqua colours

After introducing Type 8 Indigo, an 8-piece limited edition for which the brand has combined the art of Japanese indigo dyeing with innovative watchmaking, recently, Ressence has now introduced Type 9 in two exclusive colours - warm Grey and fresh Aqua. Both watches lack a conventional crown which further streamlines the design and gives the model an avant-garde touch.

The 39mm Type 9 features a polished titanium case that houses the iconic ROCS 9 module and embodies a perfect balance between strength and fluidity. The design is reminiscent of the gentle flow of a wave - fluid, but powerful at the same time.

The essence of Type 9 lies in its reduction to the essentials: hours and minutes. The indications on the dial surface are reduced to a minimum, with the off-centre hour display comprising only the digits 9 and 3. This minimalist approach is reinforced by the rotating minute ring, which has markings engraved in five-minute increments. For the first time at Ressence, the minute ring is located outside the dial and is supported by a fixed rim with engraved indices. This novel placement creates a more compact silhouette and gives the watch a striking appearance. The polished titanium case and the circular end of the bezel and hour ring complement the refined design and underline the luxurious aspirations of the model. The result is a clean, modern watch that stands out both in its graphic design and its functional elegance.

The Type 9 is ideal for slim wrists and, at just 39 grams - including the leather strap - offers unparalleled comfort. The Type 9 shows how Ressence masterfully combines classic elements of watchmaking with innovative technology. The patented ROCS 9 mechanism, which forms the centre of the model, works with a specially modified automatic base calibre and ensures a power reserve of 36 hours.
