For the past two days, the leading single-hand watch brand
MeisterSinger has been dropping hints to watch lovers and the watch community at large about its latest launch, unveiled today. The new 24H Enamel Edition (Ref. ED-PM99-24HE) is limited to 25 pieces and can also transform into a useful compass in daylight hours.
MeisterSinger new 24H Enamel EditionThe 40mm watch is crafted in stainless steel and features a handcrafted enamel dial, crafted through an intense process which involves precision and several firing stages at around 800°C. Moreover, the dial is applied with several coatings of ultra-fine enamel dust, fired in specially designed kilns, which are gradually cooled to attain a flawless finish. Not only this, the back of the watch is also treated to prevent unwanted tension and to stabilize the dial. After all the processes, only a few dials are selected to proceed with.
Further, the dial displays 24-hour Arabic markers following the historic ‘365’ style, which involves elegant numbers and fine typography, and a blued needle-shaped hand. To use the watch as a compass, the four cardinal points N, O, S, and W have been marked at 6,9,12, and 3 in that order. Position the watch parallel to the ground, with the hand pointing towards the sun, and the compass will indicate north, south, east, and west. An oversized conical crown allows for winding and time setting.
