Omega debuts Seamaster Aquaterra in 30mm and introduces two new movements

There is a total of 12 new Omega Aquaterra 30mm variants boasting new Master Chronometer movements
Omega is expanding its iconic Seamaster Aquaterra line with 12 new colourful timepieces for women. This is the first time that the line has received Aquaterras in a size measuring 30mm. The latest watches also mark the introduction of two new OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer movements Calibre 8750 and 8751. The watches come in stainless steel, 18K Moonshine™ Gold, 18K Sedna™ Gold, and in a combination of both with stainless steel.

The release is brought to life through the campaign ‘My Little Secret’ by six leading women - Model, entrepreneur, and advocate Ashley Graham; recording artist Danielle Marsh; singer and song-writer, Tems; actors Ariana DeBose and Marisa Abela; and model Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. The campaign revolves around the idea that “Some things are simply too beautiful to keep hidden”.

The variations include five watches in stainless steel featuring black, blue, grey (diamond set bezel and hour markers), silver, and lavender dials. Three watches come in 18K Moonshine™ Gold, with Moonshine™ Gold dial, another with a pearled white mother-of-pearl dial, and a green dial–the last two feature diamonds on the bezel and hour markers. One iteration comes in 18K Sedna™ Gold with a linen dial.

Then there are two dual-toned models in stainless steel and 18K Moonshine™ Gold, with silver and white mother-of-pearl-dials (diamond-set bezel and hour markers). Another one comes in a combination of stainless steel and 18K Sedna™ Gold, featuring a brown dial and diamond hour markers.

The aesthetically common feature on all the references is the presence of a date window at 6 o’clock and the blue glowing white Super-LumiNova applied hull-shaped hour markers and redesigned faceted hands.

The other new aspect of the watches is that they are launched with the brand’s two new reimagined Master Chronometer movements, which are designed to fit inside a 30mm case. There is Calibre 8750, which is fitted inside stainless steel and two-tone models, and Calibre 8751, which drives Sedna™ and Moonshine™ gold models.

The movements provide co-axial escapement and have free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring, 15,000 Gauss magnetic protection and boasts a power reserve of about 48 hours. All variations are completed with a brushed and polished finish integrated bracelets.
