Kickstarting the 14th year of sponsoring the international series - Grandes Dames of the Sea, Florentine luxury sports watch maker Panerai unveiled the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge in Antibes with their new ambassador and French free diving champion, Guillaume Nery.
Playing host to a fleet of some 80 vintage sailing crafts for the first round of the PCYC 2018, the Les Voiles d’Antibes being hosted in the French town of Antibes will be ending on the 3rd of June, 2018. Guillaume Nery graced the occasion with a Luminor Submersible 1950 Amagnetic 3 Days Automatic Titanio PAM 1389 on his wrist – the perfect professional divers watch for him.
Antibes also saw the attendance of the 1936 ketch designed and built by the William Fife Shipyard, Eilean, restored by Panerai and used since 2009 to promote both its own brand and the classic culture of sailing.
The next circuit will be held from 13th - 17th June.
