Continuing the spirit, Louis Erard has now joined hands with Swedish watch brand GoS to create the Louis Erard Regulator x GoS (Ref. 85248AA03.BSA02). GoS watches is known for its unique dials and Damascus steel that is characterised by sinous patterns and contrasts.
Louis Erard Regulator x GoSLouis Erard and GoS – an artistic partnership across national borders
The origins of this extraordinary collaboration lie in the vision of Manuel Emch, CEO of Louis Erard, and Patrik Sjögren, founder of GoS. The two watch brands share a passion for craftsmanship and the use of natural materials. While Louis Erard is known for its creativity in the field of regulator watches, GoS has earned a reputation for its expertise in working with Damascus steel.
Damascus steel is a material that exudes a certain vibrancy. The components for the watches are crafted in Sweden by master blacksmith Conny Persson. The dial of each Louis Erard Regulator x GoS was forged by him and then hand-fitted into the watch by Patrik Sjögren.
Exclusive details and the special GoS design
Each watch in this exclusive edition is unique, as the Damascus steel forms individual patterns during the forging process. The blue, sword-like hands and the seconds dial at 6 o'clock, inspired by a Celtic symbol, reflect GoS's signature aesthetic and give the watch its distinctive look. The regulator layout, which displays the minutes centrally, the hours at 12 o'clock, and the seconds at 6 o'clock, remains classic, ensuring clear legibility despite the curved shapes on the dial.
The watch's 39mm steel case, featuring a polished finish, houses the Sellita SW266-1 automatic movement, which operates at a frequency of 4 Hz and has a 38-hour power reserve. It features a domed sapphire crystal on the front and a dark sapphire crystal caseback. Water-resistant to 50 meters, the watch is also suitable for everyday wear.
Nordic nature on your wrist
The watch comes with a salmon leather strap, a strap made from tanned salmon skin that's both robust and supple, with a scale-like texture. It's particularly valued in Scandinavia as a sustainable alternative to conventional leather.
A black calfskin strap is also included, allowing the wearer to choose between two different looks. Both straps feature quick-release spring bars for quick and easy changes.
The Louis Erard Regulator x GoS is limited to only 178 pieces and is offered at Rs. 4,10,000 (approx.)
