Czapek & Cie. brings three new fashion-inspired dials to its Promenade collection

The new watches are called Promenade Plisse, with dials in ivory, pearl white, and rose colours
Czapek and Cie. launched the Promenade collection at Watches and Wonders last year with three new references - Promenade Goutte d'Eau, a 100-piece limited edition; Promenade Guilloché Ivoire, and Promenade Guilloche Blue Nuit (Read about the watches here). Designed with the motive of keeping them chic, relaxed, and easy to wear, it is with the same intent that the brand has now launched three new watches with asymmetric dials called the Promenade Plisse (pleats) featuring ivory-, pearl-, and rose-coloured dials.

Encased in 38mm stainless steel, the watches feature the design language of the Promenade collection with an evolved case design of the brand’s iconic original Quai des Bergues model. The case sides are sand-blasted, the crown protection is curved, and the bezel is slim and rounded. The dials feature patterns that appear like the lines are radiating from the small seconds subdial located at 4:30. These patterns draw inspiration from textiles and are created by a complex stamping process, a new technique developed in partnership with the brand’s long-standing partner Metalem. The result is akin to fabric pleats, and the pattern on the dial appears to move when the wearer moves their wrist. All three models are gender neutral.

“We have always believed that gender divisions in watchmaking are largely artificial,” says Xavier de Roquemarel, CEO of Czapek & Cie. “Beauty and creativity unite men and women; making a beautiful watch cannot be reduced to a gender split. A beautiful watch will please men and women equally, in the same way that a beautifully tailored smoking [tuxedo suit] looks equally wonderful on men and women.”

To keep the focus on the dial, other elements on the dial have been kept minimal and simple. There are applied hour markers and arrow-shaped skeletonized hands. Each model is a limited edition of 18 pieces and will only be available at the brand’s official retailers worldwide, Czapek boutique in Geneva, Switzerland, and at Czapek.com. The Maison will start delivering watches in the first quarter of 2026.

Beating inside the watches is the in-house calibre SXH5 with a micro-rotor movement. The watches are finished with brown and beige leather straps except for the rose dial, which comes on a Milanese mesh steel bracelet.
