For the 2020 Watches & Wonders exhibition in Shanghai, IWC Schaffhausen announces the release of the iconic Portugieser Chronograph on a stainless steel bracelet for the first time. This announcements offers this already flexible and versatile timepiece more range and makes it apt for a whole new set of adventures.
The Portugieser has always symbolised the brand's sportier design expression and has been doing so for the past 20 years. Now with the presence of a high-quality stainless steel bracelet with a butterfly folding clasp, the Portugeiser Chronograph takes a new look with much ease.
Crafted in a robust stainless-steel case, the watch features a silver plated dial that is home to a clean and open dial design with the two recessed totalisers at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock, as well as the inner flange printed with a quarter seconds scale. Ticking away inside is the IWC-manufactured 69355 calibre that clocks in a power reserve of 46 hours. And last but not the least is the presence of the bracelet that is beautifully detailed and elaborately finished with polished and satin-finished surfaces. Thanks to the butterfly folding clasp present on the bracelet, it sits ergonomically on the wrist and provides excellent wearing comfort.
The new stainless steel bracelet is available as an accessory for all new models of the Portugieser Chronograph (Ref. IW3716).
