Hosting a nautical design, the new Hublot boutique overlooks the central via Vittorio Emanuele in the luxury shopping district in Capri, Italy. Having opened its doors officially this summer, the store was launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held by Augusto Capitanucci, Regional Director for the Mediterranean Countries, Hublot.
The store launch also included the unveiling of the Big Bang Blue – an honest interpretation of the blue of the sky and the sea. The 45mm timepiece comes with a beach-ready blue and white natural rubber strap, or blue alligator strap. The blue ceramic case houses a cerulean skeleton dial, underneath which lies the signature UNICO movement and the self-winding flyback chronograph with column wheel which manages the time in complete autonomy for three days.
The timepiece is limited to 100 pieces, and will be available in the brand's summer boutiques initially – Capri, Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Porto Cervo, and Mykonos - before hitting all the Hublot boutiques across the world.
