The MB&F Horological Machine No.9 takes major design cues from some of the most beautiful automobiles and aircrafts of the 1940s and 50s also called the golden era of design. This time, exactly a year after the unveiling of the HM9 series, MB&F gives the generous curves of the HM9 a gold cloak called HM9 'Flow' Red Gold.
This new variation is available in two limited editions -Air and Road – and is limited to just 18 pieces each. While most of the features of the two watches are pretty similar, the difference between the two lies in the dial of the two watches, the finishing of their movements and their dual balance wheels. While the dial of the Air variant features a classic aviation instrument style aesthetic, the Road variant makes use of a speedometer for dial inspiration. Additionally, the former features a blackened movement, with rhodium-plated balance wheels, the latter houses a rhodium-plated movement with red gold balance wheels.
