The Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic Watch: The 6th World Record-Breaking Design

For the sixth time in a row, Bvlgari continues its saga of pursuing excellence and performance with the 6th record-breaking design timepiece – the Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic watch. Fuelled by passion and driven by excellence, this new timepiece is the sixth world record in six years. That itself says a lot about the brand and where it is headed. Since the launch of the first model back in 2014, Bvlgari has left no stone unturned in following and excelling in creating ultra-thin timepieces that are breaking all-time records. The 2020 Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic watch highlights a mechanical manufacture ultra-thin skeleton movement with automatic winding chronograph single-push and tourbillon. All of those features enable the watch to has a total thickness of 7.40mm with a movement thickness of just 3.50mm. Housing a skeletonised dial, the 2020 Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic watch is powered by the BVL 388 caliber and crafted in full sandblasted titanium case and bracelet.

The Bvlgari Aluminium Watch – The Return Of An Icon

“Reigniting the fire lit back in 1998”, Bvlgari announces the return of the Bvlgari Aluminium watch that speaks a universal language that goes beyond gender, age, eras, trends, social profile and personal style. A popular timepiece then that pushed the envelope by using totally unexpected materials like aluminium and rubber, the iconic Bvlgari Aluminium watch was a pioneer in reinventing the idea of luxury, propelling it into the future with signature elegance and daring. The 2020 iteration of this iconic piece is smart, cool and immediately recognisable. 'Between the two generations of Bvlgari Aluminium watch, the design has been changed in order to improve the comfort on the wrist thanks to reshaped lugs to adapt to the new case size.

The 2020 versions no longer house a mechatronic-quartz movement but instead a mechanical self-winding movement, an evolution enabled by the now fully integrated Manufacture Bvlgari. Last, the aluminium alloy is more resistant and the rubber technical features have been improved as well.' The new collection is available in three models ; grey dial, black dial and a chronograph version. All the models are crafted in aluminium and comes equipped with rubber bracelets.

Gerald Genta 2020 Arena Bi-Retrograde Sport

Dedicated to connoisseurs only, the Gerald Genta 2020 Arena Bi-Retrograde Sport pays homage to the man himself who is regarded by many as the most notable watch designer of the 20th century. This new 2020 Gérald Genta Arena timepiece features jumping hours which are displayed through a window at 12 o’clock, while the minutes are tracked on an arc spanning the top half of the black anthracite dial, across which the minute hand travels and snaps back to zero every 60 minutes.

Likewise, for the date, which is set in a smaller arc at 6 o’clock. Powered by the BVL 300 caliber with a bidirectional self-winding movement boasting a 42-hour power reserve, the complex mechanism is visible through the scratch resistant sapphire case back. It comes on a matte black alligator strap with a titanium ardillon buckle.

Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon – World Record Ladies Watch

A trend that we have been closely following is the influx of new and innovative watches for women across all brands. Bvlgari takes this trend a botch higher with the introduction of the 2020 Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon. This timepiece is a Ladies watch World Record with a unique small-sized women’s tourbillon that is specially designed to fit inside the sleek dimensions of the serpent-head case of the latest incarnation of Bvlgari’s most iconic watch, Serpenti. Designed to fit the Serpenti-shaped case, this small-sized shaped Haute Horlogerie movement is rhodium-plated, hand-decorated with Côtes de Genève, perlage and beveling, and features one sapphire bridge. Unlike other watchmakers, Bvlgari adapts the technical considerations to suit the aesthetics, and thus chose a transparent sapphire backcase at the level of the tourbillon to highlight the movement and decoration work, a winding stem inclined of 6 degrees, located between 2h and 3h, and special pavé setting to achieve as thin a case as possible.

The new Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon models come in rose gold or white gold with diamond pavé and a leather strap or white gold with diamond pavé and a full diamond bracelet. In addition to those styles, five new Serpenti Seduttori editions round out the 2020 assortment. Their designs reinterpret the typical snake-skin smooth bracelet to debut one precious version with diamonds and one with alternating rose or white gold and steel.
