Established in 1984 in India, Titan began making affordable and stylish watches revolutionising the Indian watch industry. After becoming a household name in the country and expanding to Asia Pacific, Middle-east and Europe, in 2002, the brand created the slimmest quartz of the time, Edge, only 3.35mm thick. In 2003, the brand launched an independent youth brand, Fastrack, and in 2004, a sub-brand called Raga with a focus on watches for women. In 2012, the brand released Skeletal Edge, which went on to win ‘Best Product Design of the Year - Watches and Jewellery’ from the Design Council of Japan, in 2013. Expanding the Edge collection, the brand launched Edge Mechanical, the slimmest mechanical watch by an Indian watchmaker in 2021. In 2024, Titan Edge became the first Indian brand to compete at the Grand Prix D’Horlogerie de Genève in Time Only and Challenge category with the Titan Edge Squircle Matte Black and Titan Edge UltraSlim.
