For Watches and Wonders 2025, Chanel is unveiling their iconic J12 line in new colour and material with J12 Bleu Diamond Tourbillon Watch and J12 Bleu X-Ray Watch respectively. New colours also come alive in the Blush Capsule Collection.
For Watches and Wonders 2025, Chanel is playing with colour, a step away from its usual monochrome palette. Spearheading this is the Blush Capsule collection that introduces new hues and designs in various collections, including the J12 and Boy.Friend line. The colours are inspired by the colour palette designed by Chanel’s Makeup Creative Studio.

J12 Blush Calibre 12.1 38mm Watch

J12 Blush Calibre 12.1 38mm Watch

There is a new addition to Chanel’s iconic J12 line, first launched in 2000. With a ceramic and matte-black coated steel case, the watch, reminiscent of J12 Electro 33mm Ladies Watch H7121 launched in 2021, is a 38mm timepiece with pink and red camaieu effect on the index and bezel of the watches. There is a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. Equipped with the self-winding COSC-certified manufacture movement Caliber 12.1, the watch has a power reserve of 70 hours and offers water resistance up to 200 meters. With a black ceramic bracelet, a brand’s signature material for J 12 series, the limited edition watch comes with triple-folding steel buckle. There is a 33mm version as well, powered by the Calibre 12.2, also COSC certified.

Another addition to the J12 collection, and part of the Blush Capsule Collection, is the J12 Pink Palette Watch. The watch is inspired by Chanel’s iconic lipstick collection. A sleek black ceramic case is enhanced by a bezel and index set with a gradient of baguette-cut pink sapphires. A total of 58 gemstones in nine distinct shades, ranging from delicate pastel pink to vibrant deep pink, have been selected to evoke the signature hues of Chanel lipsticks. At the heart of this exceptional timepiece beats the Caliber 12.2, a COSC-certified self-winding Manufacture movement, ensuring 50 hours of power reserve. The limited edition of 100 watches offers a time-only function displaying hours, minutes and seconds.

Inspired by the bold strokes of dripping art, the Chanel Watch Creation Studio presents the J12 Box Dripping Art— a mesmerizing pentaptych limited to five exceptional timepieces. Like vibrant splashes of nail polish captured in motion, the Grand Feu enamel dials of these watches evokeartistic expression. The development teams meticulously conducted over a hundred colour tests and dedicated 200 hours of research to perfect the intricate enamel application. The result is a seamless fusion of fine watchmaking and contemporary art. Housed within a sophisticated lacquered wooden box, the five watches come together as a visual narrative. Encased in a highly resistant black ceramic 38mm case, the watch features a brilliant-cut diamond on the crown. Each watch is powered by the Caliber 12.1 self-winding manufacture movement, offers power reserve for 70 hours and displays hours, minutes and seconds only. Limited to 5 sets.

Also part of the Blush capsule collection, Chanel captures the essence of timeless elegance with the Boy·Friend Coco Art watch, a tribute to Mademoiselle herself. At its heart, an 18K white gold dial watch features a striking image of Gabrielle Chanel, gazing into the mirror of her iconic powder compact case. Rendered in a bold Pop Art style, the portrait is brought to life using the intricate tampography technique, requiring twelve successive manual prints onto the white gold dial.

The captivating pink background, achieved through the meticulous Grand Feu enamel process, enhances the vibrancy of the portrait. Surrounding this artistic masterpiece, 38 baguette-cut pink sapphires are meticulously set on the bezel, their radiant hue further illuminating Coco Chanel’s silhouette.

With a limited edition with only 20 pieces available, it features a steel case with a sleek black coating, along with a bezel set with 38 baguette-cut pink sapphires that adds a touch of vibrant elegance. Powered by a manual-winding mechanical movement, the BOY·FRIEND Coco Art watch offers a 42-hour power reserve, water resistance up to 30 meters. J12 Bleu Diamond Tourbillon Watch

Moving away from J12’s classic black ceramic launched in 2000 and white launched in 2003, after 25 years Chanel is introducing a new colour in the line, the J12 Bleu, which took five years of research for the manufacture to execute. One variation in this line, being unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2025 is J12 Bleu Diamond Tourbillon Watch. Encased in a matte bleu ceramic and steel, the watch is adorned with 34 baguette-cut blue sapphires, and Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite stone, on the fixed bezel. There is also a flying tourbillon whose hypnotic rotations are magnified by a 65-facet solitaire diamond set in the centre of its cage, a standout feature for the timepiece. The watch is limited to 55 pieces.

J12 Bleu X-Ray Watch

J12 Bleu X-Ray Watch

Inspired by the colour of the sky and sea on a clear day, J12 Bleu X-Ray is a tribute to transparency. Crafted from a single block of synthetic sapphire, this model took over 1600 hours to sculpt the case and bracelet. Encased in black coated 18k white gold, the watch features 196 bright blue baguette-cut natural sapphires on the bezel and the bracelet. Creating a floating illusion, the hour indicators are 12 baguette-cut bright blue natural sapphires placed on a colourless sapphire plate. The watch is powered by Calibre 3.1 mechanical movement with manual winding and offers power reserve for 55 hours and displays only hours and minutes with 8K white gold with black coating hands. The timepiece is limited and numbered to 12 pieces, which is engraved on the caseback as X/N, N being the number of the watch.

Monsieur Platinum Lion Tourbillon Watch

With its latest creation, the Chanel Watchmaking Creation Studio presents a spectacular and celestial vision of timekeeping. The pièce de résistance features a regal lion, masterfully carved in white gold and adorned with 5,037 diamonds. Encased in a glass sphere, the hours are elegantly indicated by a comet traveling across a rotating planet, while the constellation of Leo marks the minutes. A rotating white gold sphere, encrusted with brilliant-cut diamonds, serves as a visual reminder that time is in motion.
