Watches and Wonders 2026: Baume & Mercier launches the Joia de Baume & Mercier collection

The new four-piece women's collection draws on nearly two centuries of the Maison's heritage in ladies' watchmaking
At Watches and Wonders 2026, Baume & Mercier is making a clear statement about its commitment to women's watchmaking with the debut of the Joia de Baume & Mercier: A new collection of four models rooted in the Maison's long history of creating jewellery watches for women.

All four models share a lug-free 28 mm round case in polished stainless steel, a domed crown set with black agate, a silvery dial, and a quartz Ronda 751 movement with a five-year autonomy. Each is water-resistant to 50 metres and features an interchangeable strap system that requires no tools to change.

Three models, three personalities
The first three models - M0A10847, M0A10848, and M0A10849 - form the accessible core of the collection. All three share the same 28 mm case dimensions at 7.2 mm thick, with a silvery sun-satin dial, a sapphire crystal, and an engravable solid caseback.

The M0A10847 is the most classically feminine of the trio, pairing its silvery sun-satin dial with 4N gold-plated Roman numerals and gold leaf hands against a midnight blue calfskin strap with a polished steel pin buckle.

The M0A10848 takes a more sculptural approach, fitted with an integrated bracelet in polished and satin-finished stainless steel with three rows of H-shaped links, finished with a triple folding clasp - giving it a more architectural presence on the wrist.

The M0A10849 introduces chromatic contrast, with a 4N PVD yellow gold-toned case and bezel paired with ruthenium leaf hands, black Roman numeral transfers on the silvery dial, and a black calfskin strap.

The heritage piece: M0A10850
The standout model of the Joia launch is the M0A10850, which the Maison positions as the embodiment of the collection's connection between past and present. It draws direct inspiration from a Baume & Mercier piece produced in the 1980s, reinterpreted here with a bezel set with 40 brilliant-cut diamonds of Top Wesselton, VS quality, totalling 0.81 carats.

The silvery dial features a criss-crossed satin-brushed finish that echoes the texture of the steel flattened-link bracelet, which fastens with a triple folding clasp. Ruthenium leaf hands and black Roman numeral transfers complete the dial. This model is in limited production.
