ndia’s largest watch brand Titan debuts in Geneva Watch Week 2026 with two new timepieces: the Edge Ultraslim Mechanical And the Nebula Genesis Starburst. The former is built on the brand’s 2.2 mm slim Edge Mechanical calibre, while the later one takes inspiration from the birth of a star.
Edge Ultraslim Mechanical
Titan launched the Titan Edge in 2002, which was the thinnest watch then with the slimness of 3.5 mm. Over two decades the brand has developed the line and established the Edge collection amongst its most iconic. In 2020, Titan presented its slimmest mechanical watch, the Titan Edge Mechanical, boasting a thickness of 5.85 mm. Building upon that, the brand has released the Edge UltraSlim and the Edge Squircle, last year, which even was long listed in ‘Challenge’ and ‘Time Only’ category, respectively, of the 2024 Grand Prix Awards.
Hence, bringing the new Edge Ultraslim Mechanical to present at the Geneva Watch Week this year, is a strategic decision. The brand will also send this watch for an official entry at GPHG this year in the time-only category.
The watch features a minimal dial, just like the previous version. The dial entails a rotating disc with a single hand marking the hour. Long thin bars mark the hours, and there is a small line indicating the minute on the white disc visible in the dial.
Nebula Genesis Starburst
Nebula is the brand’s high-jewellery watch collection, which now expands with the new Nebula Genesis Starburst. The watch features 60-diamonds on the dodecagonal bezel, drawing inspiration from the birth of a star.
The dial of this watch is minimal as well, it features a guilloche central disc. There’s a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock. The watch is powered by the in-house automatic movement with trionique rotor.
“Our new novelties, and proposed new brand at the upper end of the spectrum, represents a natural progression for Titan. They bring together our manufacturing depth, our design capabilities, and our engineering expertise into a more focused expression of high-end watchmaking, says Kuruvilla “Diny” Markose, CEO of Titan Company Ltd. “The opportunity of introducing the company at this key moment in Geneva reflects the standards we are aligning ourselves with. Titan's next chapter will be written not only in India, but in dialogue with the wider world of fine watchmaking,” he added.
