In an attempt to make things easier for you, we at WatchTime India, give you a rundown of the top key highlights that you need to pay special attention to this auction season:

Like most of you know that any watch collection is incomplete without a swanky Rolex, hence the "Exceptional Timepieces" auction is no exception. It features an assortment of highly coveted wristwatches from the master horologist. From the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date wristwatch with a unidirectional rotating bezel and an officially certified superlative chronometer to the famed Daytona wristwatch with Rolex-grade precision, they have it all!

Though wristwatches are usually considered a man’s accessory, au contraire to their origins, the auction also houses some elegant women’s pieces like the 18k yellow gold & diamond encrusted vintage ladies wristwatch by Rolex and the gold mesh bracelet Ellipse wristwatch by Patek Philippe. Yet another remarkable timepiece is the Patek Philippe Calatrava Travel Dual Time watch with equal parts modern ingenuity and classic integrity.

Another favourite is the Breguet Classique Hora Mundi with its iconic 'instant-jump’ time-zone display system with synchronised date, day/night and city indications that makes for an exciting find.

Additionally, the Panerai Radiomir 1940 3 Days Oro Rosso California wristwatch, originally designed for the Italian Navy in 1940, is a perfect blend of vintage looks and modern technology.

Under the vintage banner, the "Exceptional Timepieces" auction offers a deftly carved French marble table clock by Japy Fares that features a candelabra style marble structure with ormolu details and a sun motif pendulum. There is also a Victorian pocket watch that comes with an intricate 18k gold engraving on the back case and central dial along with a French carriage clock dating back to the 1880’s with Rococo style repoussé work featuring angel motifs, indicative of the Renaissance school of art.
