Hublot’s three new limited editions in partnership with the Argentine Football Association

There are two Big Bang Unicos and one Classic Fusion, all dressed in blue
Hublot loves football. The brand has been associated with the sport since 2006, and has become the Official Timekeeper of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Hublot also started a partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA) in September 2022 — to commemorate their union, the brand unveiled 100 Big Bang e pieces (connected watches) in honour of Argentina. The team also won the World Cup in the same year. Now, the watch brand in collaboration with the Argentine Football Association is introducing three new timepieces, which include two Big Bang Unicos and one Classic Fusion.

Big Bang Unico
Hublot Big Bang King Gold (Ref. 441.OE.2080.RX.AFA24)

There are two 42mm Big Bang Unico models - one is limited edition of 25-pieces, featuring a satin-finished and polished titanium case (Ref. 441.NE.2080.RX.AFA24) and the other is a 10-pieces limited edition with a King Gold case (Ref. 441.OE.2080.RX.AFA24). Both the watches entail a ceramic bezel in Albiceleste sky blue colour to match the official jersey of the AFA. The skeletonised dial is incorporated with a matte white small seconds counter that has a laser-engraved ‘World Cup’ won by the team in 2022 and minute counters at 9 and 3 o’clock respectively. There’s a date window inside the 3 o’clock counter, and matt white Arabic numerals and hour markers.

Powering both the models is the latest generation Unico Manufacture movement – the HUB1280, boasting a 72-hour power reserve. A white and sky-blue structured rubber strap or a white structured lined rubber strap flanks the watches.

Classic Fusion

The latest 140-piece limited edition Classic Fusion (Ref. 521.NL.7180.RX.AFA24) in the brand’s arsenal features a 45mm satin-finished and polished titanium case with pushers, crown, screws, markers, and hands in King Gold. The ceramic bezel, sunray dial, and strap feature navy blue colour to honour the team's away kit.

Further, the dial has matt white small seconds featuring laser-engraved ‘World Cup’, and 30-minute counters at 3 and 9 o’clock respectively. The date window is at 6 o’clock. Powering the watch is a HUB1143 calibre, boasting a 42-hour power reserve. A navy blue lined rubber strap completes the watch.
