Longines has served as an official timekeeper for the Commonwealth Games since the 1962 Perth Games in Australia. As that partner continues into 2026 for the upcoming Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, the brand has created a special edition HydroConquest. The watch is released in limited pieces of 2,026 and is available in two sizes: 39 mm and 42 mm.
The HydroConquest line at Longines was first introduced in 2007, with the collection debuting with a rugged stainless steel case (initially 41 mm and 43 mm) and 300 metre water resistance. The line was updated over the years since then, like the introduction of unidirectional ceramic bezels in 2018, expanded the colour palette in 2020, and in 2023 the collection received its first GMT function. In 2026, the line was redesigned with a reworked bezel, new dial variations, new ceramic bezel colours, and the introduction of a Milanese mesh bracelet.

The Hydroconquest Commonwealth Games 2026 builds on the latest evolution of the line. Its round stainless-steel case houses the gradient lacquered dial that transitions from vibrant teal to deep black. There is a ‘HydroConquest’ inscription that appears in violet at 6 o’clock, and a pink-tipped seconds hand, taking inspiration from the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games logo’s colour palette of teal, pink, and violet. There are rhodium-plated hands, and applied indexes, both treated with Super-LumiNova®. The black ceramic bezel insert features numerals in a matching teal tone with a Super-LumiNova® filled capsule at the “0” position. Sealed with a screw-in crown the watch is water resistant up to 300 metres. A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock.

The watch is driven by the Longines exclusive calibre L888.5, a self-winding mechanical movement with a silicon balance-spring delivering a power reserve of up to 72 hours. It features a screw-down case back that is engraved with the official Glasgow 2026
Commonwealth Games logo and the inscription ‘LIMITED EDITION – ONE OF 2026 – commonwealth games GLASGOW 2026’. It is dressed in a high-quality, Swiss-made black rubber strap.
