Introduced in the year 2005, the Only Watch is a biannual event which culminates in a charity auction, courtesy Christie's, to support the medical research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The event will kick off in Monaco this year from the 25thto the 28thSeptember and will come to a close in Geneva from the 7thto the 9thNovember with the auction.
Keeping with the tradition, each brand from the watch industry participates in the Only Watch with unique pieces which they submit for the auction. This year will see Jaeger-LeCoultre unveil the Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Enamel Chestnut special edition for the charity event.
Featuring a hand-guilloched enamel dial in chestnut, the 39mm displays a new perpetual calendar design at the 12 o'clock. The moon phase very subtly maintains its presence at the 6 o'clock and indicates the moon's waxing and waning phases in both the hemispheres. Both the 9 and 3 o' clock positions feature the date and day respectively, with the date counter completely engraved. The unique edition comes equipped with the automatic 868A/2 movement housing a power reserve of 70 hours.
