After Flamingo Pink and Blue, Tudor now adds a "Bumblebee" yellow dial to its Black Bay Chrono collection of ‘Daring Watches’. A perfect summer watch, the new Black Bay Chrono 39 mm (Ref. M79310N-0001) features a reduced 39 mm stainless steel case, compared to the 41 mm case of previous iterations.
Just like the other chrono predecessors, the watch is encased in polished and stain-finished stainless steel and topped with a domed sapphire crystal. The fixed stainless steel bezel features black anodised aluminium insert and a tachymetric scale with silver markings. There is a crown at 3 is embedded with the brand’s logo, and two screw-down pushers at 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock.
On the vibrant yellow dial, there are contrasting black sub-counters for minutes and seconds at 3 and 9, respectively. Moreover, there’s a date window at 6 o’clock, and the brand’s signature coated hour markers and hands.
Powering the watch is the same automatic manufacture Calibre MT5813 with chronograph and bidirectional rotor system. It is a COSC-certified movement, boasting a power reserve of up to 70 hours. The watch is water resistant up to 200 metres and is fitted with a three link stainless steel bracelet with polished and satin-brushed finishes, with TUDOR "T-fit" rapid adjustment clasp.
