Silver Milestone: Rolex and the 24 Hours of Le Mans Celebrate 25 Years of Partnership

The 94th edition of the race will unfold on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, at the historic Circuit de la Sarthe in France
The year 2026 marks a momentous occasion in the world of motor sports, as Rolex celebrates its silver anniversary—25 years—as the Exclusive Major Partner and Official Timepiece of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Rolex has partnered with the prestigious endurance race since 2001.

The 94th edition of the race will unfold on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, at the historic Circuit de la Sarthe in France. At exactly 4:00 p.m. local time, as the French Tricolore flag drops, a field of 62 cars representing 14 leading manufacturers will line up to tackle the demanding twice-around-the-clock challenge.

Drivers will have to navigate the ever-changing conditions of the 13.626-kilometre (8.467-mile) track to cover the maximum possible distance over 24 hours. The drivers who emerge victorious at the top of the overall classification podium will be rewarded with a specially engraved Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, bearing the word "Winner" on its caseback.

Among those vying for the prestigious title is Dutch driver Nyck de Vries, who joined the Rolex family of Testimonees earlier this year. The event’s legacy is epitomised by Rolex legend Tom Kristensen, appropriately nicknamed "Mr Le Mans" after securing a record nine victories at the demanding contest.  The bond between Rolex and motor racing runs deep, tracing back to the 1930s when Sir Malcolm Campbell wore a Rolex Oyster while setting World Land Speed Records on Daytona Beach Rolex's commitment to motor sport in 2026 is underscored by a double milestone; alongside the Le Mans silver anniversary, the Swiss watchmaker is also celebrating its 10th year as the Official Timepiece of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
