The million dollar Parrot Repeater Pocket Watch (ref. J080533000) is a one of a kind masterpiece – created by the 280-year-old watch brand Jaquet Droz – truly embodies the spirit of artistic storytelling in its mechanical prowess. The 56mm 18k red gold objet d'art consists of 10 carats of precious stones, including yellow diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires in three colours.

The hinged lid on the front of the case reveals an 18k gold open-worked jungle relief scene which is engraved and hand-painted, and also features a mother of pearl sub-dial for time. When the repeater is activated, the macaws, chicks, and the egg on the dial move to the rhythm of the chimes – with the birds bobbing their heads whilst spreading their wings and the egg hatching.

The open caseback reveals the hand-wound calibre RMA88 which is fitted with cathedral gongs. The Parrot Repeater Pocket Watch is a unique piece and is priced at US $1.05 million.
