Dubai Watch Week 2025: Hublot dedicate two special watches for 75th anniversary of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons

It's a double celebration for Hublot, as the brand celebrates 20 years of the iconic Big Bang collection and the 75th anniversary of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, at 7th edition of Dubai Watch Week
At the 7th edition of Dubai Watch Week, Hublot elevates its longstanding partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons with a pair of exclusives that feel both celebratory and forward-looking. The timing is symbolic in more than one: 2025 marks 20 years of the Big Bang — the genre-defining collection that has shaped Hublot’s philosophy of ‘fusion’ since 2005 — while Seddiqi commemorates its 75th anniversary, a milestone for the Middle Eastern watch retailer. The two limited editions honour their shared history yet push the brand’s design vocabulary into fresher, more modern territory.

Big Bang All Black Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary

Limited to just ten pieces, the “Big Bang All Black Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary” embodies Hublot’s philosophy of “invisible visibility” in an impressively consistent manner. The 43-millimeter case, crafted entirely from micro-blasted black ceramic, appears sculpted from a single piece. The screwed elements in black-coated titanium blend seamlessly with the dark tone of the bezel, creating an almost monolithic presence. Behind the anti-reflective sapphire crystal lies a dial with a satin-finished “carbon effect,” its dark texture revealing its depth only in the light. The hands and indices are black electroplated and seem almost to float.

Inside beats the in-house HUB1280 Unico caliber, a modern column-wheel chronograph movement with flyback function and a 72-hour power reserve. A 22-karat gold rotor, adorned with the 75th Anniversary emblem, provides a deliberate contrast to the design. The sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement without disrupting the overall dark aesthetic. This special edition is worn on a textured black rubber strap, which perfectly complements its futuristic character. Priced at approximately €26,700, it will give your wrist a serious dose of cool.

Big Bang Titanium Gray Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary

While the All Black Edition celebrates the night, the “Big Bang Titanium Grey Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary” is an homage to light. Limited to 25 pieces, it combines polished and satin-finished titanium in a play of reflection and texture. The bezel features the same sharply contoured surfaces as its black counterpart, but here in a light metal that accentuates the architecture of the Big Bang case. King Gold elements on the crown and pushers add warm accents, subtly reminiscent of Dubai – a city where modern lines and golden tones go hand in hand.

The dial with its rhodium-plated "carbon effect" finish appears both technical and refined. The satin-finished surface catches the light at different angles, lending the timepiece depth. Here, too, the Unico caliber HUB1280, whose 22-karat gold rotor with the Seddiqi anniversary engraving visibly rotates, promises precision. The textured, black and silver rubber strap seamlessly continues the color scheme and ensures exceptional wearing comfort.

A collaboration that connects identities
What unites these two models is not only their occasion, but also a shared ambition of Hublot and Seddiqi: not to preserve tradition, but to carry it into the future. The Arabic numerals on both dials are far more than an aesthetic detail. They are a testament to the region's cultural identity and, at the same time, a symbolic bridge between Swiss mechanics and Middle Eastern watchmaking tradition – an interplay that has defined Seddiqi for 75 years. Both watches also embody the essence of the Big Bang: a design that reinterprets materials, forms, and functions.
