Watches and Wonders 2025: Raymond Weil unveils its first Complete Calendar in the Freelancer collection

Raymond Weil returns to Watches and Wonders 2025 with two striking additions to its flagship Freelancer collection and a redesign of RW1212 Calibre Skeleton, celebrating nearly two decades of watchmaking.
Rooted in the entrepreneurial vision of founder Raymond Weil, the emblematic Freelancer line seamlessly blends modern watchmaking with timeless elegance. First launched in 2007, the Freelancer collection debuts its first timepiece with a Complete Calendar complication at Watches and Wonders 2025. Displaying the date, month, day, and moonphase within a redesigned 40mm round case, it exemplifies traditional craftsmanship blended with contemporary design.

The watch has a classic round case with stepped tapering lugs, and there are sapphire crystals on the front and back. A large, fluted screw down crown ensures a 100-metre water-resistance. The case is a mix of polished surfaces, while there is a brushed finish on the case middle and lugs. A window at 11 o’clock displays the day of the week, and the window at 1 o’clock displays the month. The moonphase window is at 6 o’clock and the date is indicated by a hand inside a sub-dial at 6 o’clock. Interestingly, the moon depicted in the complication is taken from a NASA image. Available in rose gold PVD (Ref. 2766-PC5-64001) and stainless steel (Ref. 2766-ST-50001), the watches are powered by  self-winding movement RW3281.

The rose gold version comes with a dune colour, sunray satin finished dial, while the stainless steel version has a contrasting dial in blue with the same finish.

The in-house RW1212 caliber takes on a bold new form with a cushion-shaped case, limited to 500 pieces. The 40 X 40 X10.5mm stainless steel case features a black PVD coating, framing an openworked dial showing the balance wheel housed at 6 o’clock, highlights the movement's architectural brilliance. There is a screw-down fluted crown at 3 o’clock stamped with ‘RW”. Paired with a black leather strap, the watch offers water resistance up to 100 meters (Ref. 2795-BKC-20000).
