Carl F. Bucherer adds new Heritage Worldtimers to its arsenal

The latest Heritage Worldtimer timepieces revive the essence of jet-set travel of the 1950s
Carl F. Bucherer has released contemporary versions of one of its first watches to integrate a second-time zone, which was released in the 1950s. These are the new Heritage Worldtimer timepieces that include three releases - one is a rose gold version, an 88-piece limited edition, and the other two are stainless steel models.

The original Worldtimer watch by Carl F. Bucherer was a pioneer in the field of timekeeping and a response to the increasing desire to travel at the time. It offered the first opportunity to read two time zones simultaneously, embodying the cosmopolitan spirit and international flair of the 1950s. This new Heritage version preserves the essential design features of the historical model while integrating modern technologies and sophisticated details.

The Heritage Worldtimer's 18-carat rose gold case, limited to 88 pieces, exudes the glamorous charm of the original edition. It features a silver-coloured sunray dial, delicate rose gold indices and elegant baton hands that blend harmoniously into the luxurious overall picture. For those who prefer a slightly less limited version, the model is available in stainless steel. This offers either a silver or black dial, also with a sunray finish, and is equipped with either engraved silver or rhodium-plated indices. Read about the brand's Manero collection

The key innovation of the Heritage Worldtimer lies in the retained case complication, operated by a second crown at 9 o'clock . This historic feature allows easy setting of a second time zone and preserves the clean, mechanical elegance of the original.

The in-house CFB A2020 calibre that powers the Heritage Worldtimer uses peripheral technology – an innovative approach that relocates key movement components to the periphery to allow for a slimmer design. This technique is highlighted by the remarkable clarity visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.

The Heritage Worldtimer comes with either an elegant black textile strap, reminiscent of a tailored suit, or a classic stainless steel bracelet. Both versions are equipped with a quick-change mechanism that allows you to change the look of the watch in an instant.
