Dubai Watch Week 2025: De Bethune presents DB Kind Of Two Jumping GMT and DB25 Perpetual Sky

For the first time, De Bethune is releasing a two-faced watch with DB Kind Of Two Jumping GMT
For Dubai Watch Week 2025, De Bethune is presenting two astonishing models: a reversible watch with two faces powered by the same movement – DB Kind Of Two Jumping GMT; and a resized version of DB25 Perpetual Calendar – DB25 Perpetual Sky.

DB Kind Of Two Jumping GMT

With DB Kind Of Two Jumping GMT, the brand releases a reversible watch with two faces telling time, powered by one masterfully constructed movement. At the heart of this watch lies its technical signature: a mechanism capable of keeping both sets of hands rotating clockwise, regardless of which side is facing up. The result is a user-friendly GMT where each dial serves a distinct purpose—one for home time, the other displaying the second time zone—activated simply by flipping the watch.

The front dial is unmistakably De Bethune: Centred around the exposed balance wheel at 6 o’clock, circled by a minute scale. The watch incorporates a GMT and jumping - second complications, presented by two central gold wheels, while a multi-level deltoid-shaped titanium bridge anchors the composition with sculptural purpose. There are mirror-polished blued steel hands with satin-brushed steel inlays to catch the light and ensure maximum legibility, along with hour and minute markers. Housed in a polished 43.3 mm Grade 5 titanium case, the watch features De Bethune’s signature floating lugs, purpose-engineered for this reversible model. The swivelling system—composed of 42 meticulously crafted components—ensures fluid rotation between the two faces while maintaining durability against water, humidity, and thermal variation.

Flip the watch, and the aesthetic shifts entirely. The reverse dial features a domed anthracite surface with a guilloché centre, complemented by polished 5N gold hands and matching gilt hour markers. A polished titanium pointer marks the jumping seconds. This side embodies classical haute horlogerie, offering clear, discreet reading of the second time zone. Home time can be set using the crown at position 3 o’clock on the contemporary dial, while the second time zone can be adjusted by pulling the crown to the second position on the classic GMT side. It is powered by the mechanical hand-wound calibre 2517, offering a power reserve of 4 days. An alligator leather strap completes the watch.

DB25 Perpetual Sky

With a complete overhaul of DB25 Perpetual Calendar’s structure, the brands presents a resized DB25 Perpetual Sky in 40 mm. The case of the Sky model retains the signature elements of a DB25 case: slim lines, slanted and hollowed-out lugs, it is crafted from grade 5 titanium it ensures a light presence on the wrist. The flat-polished blued titanium dial depicts the starry sky, hand set by artisans in white gold. This starry sky sets the background for the perpetual calendar. A silver minute track with blue roman numerals surrounds the dial. The date is positioned at 6 o’clock in a sub-dial, marked by a small yellow gold hand, while central hand in the same finishing mark hour and minutes. At 12 o’clock sits the moon-phase display with a leap-year indicator just below it. The date and the time can be set via the crown positioned at 3 o’clock, while the month, day of the week and moon phase can be adjusted via the correctors on the case. It is powered by a hand-wound movement DB2005 V3, offering a power reserve of 5 days. It comes dressed in an alligator leather strap.
