Patek upgrades its first Regulator

Baselworld 2019 sees an upgrade in Patek Philippe's very first regulator. Presenting the new Patek Philippe Ref. 5235R Annual Calendar Regulator.

If 2012 saw the launch of the first regulator-style wristwatch by the Geneva-based watchmaker Patek Philippe, 2019 seems to have taken it up a notch. The new Patek Philippe Ref. 5235R Annual Calendar Regulator takes inspiration from the original ref. 5235G with its three dials representing the hours, minutes and seconds and annual calendar.

The new rose-gold ref. 5235R features a two-tone dial with contrasting matte black sub-dials and matter black outer track with a graphite-hued centre. The 40.5mm with Arabic numerals comes equipped with the automatic 31-260 REG QA movement with 22k gold micro-rotor and a 48-hou power reserve. Priced at Rs. 35.6 lakh (approx.) the Patek Philippe Ref. 5235R Annual Calendar Regulator sits comfortably on a matte black alligator leather strap with a rose gold prong buckle.
