Deviating from its usual and most-loved minimalist designs, H. Moser & Cie. has unveiled a new 100-piece limited edition Endeavour Chronograph Compax, created in collaboration with Massena LAB, a design firm founded by watch collector William Massena that partners with brands to create unique timepieces. The new collaborative timepiece takes inspiration from H. Moser & Cie.’s vintage models from the 1940s, paying tribute to the brand’s legacy in watchmaking.
The 41mm stainless steel timepiece features a bi-compax configuration, taking cues from the vintage ‘Compax” designs, with two symmetrical subdials at 3 o’clock for 45-minutes chronograph counter and 9 o'clock small seconds. The funky blue fumé dial with sunburst finish features H. Moser & Cie. logo from 1947. All the elements on the dial - numerals, tachymeter scale, chronograph and sub-dial graduations, and leaf-shaped hour and minute hands, are filled with Super-LumiNova® that glows green in the dark.
Driving the timepiece is the HMC 220 automatic Manufacture calibre, with a chronograph module from Dubois Dépraz (a supplier for watch parts), which beats at 3Hz and offers a 3-day power reserve.
The watch comes with a hand-stitched brown kudu leather strap accentuated with white thread stitching and completed with steel pin buckle. The timepiece is priced at approx. INR 24,37,000.
