Favre Leuba’s Chief Chronograph is now in British Racing Green and Dune

The brand expands its popular Chief Chronograph line with two new dial colours
One of Favre Leuba’s young lines, Chief, has added new models recently, in a bid to strengthen the cushion-shaped case collection. The first milestone in the Chief line was the brand’s first tourbillon (Ref. 00.20103.150.06.200, read about it here), followed by the Chief Date (Ref. 00.20102.102.07.307) in a royal purple dial. A British Racing Green (Ref. 00.20101.113.03.303) and Dune (Ref. 00.20101.113.08.308) now join the collection.

Both the new models complement the existing versions in blue, black, and ice blue. The Chief Chronograph in British Racing Green interprets the traditional racing colour with a vibrant green tone that changes depending on the light. The Chief Chronograph in Dune emphasises elegance with a warm, sand-colored dial that shifts between beige and soft gold, complemented by rose gold hands and indices.

Both are created in a manufacturing process spanning more than 100 steps, in which various surface textures—sunburst finish, circular brushed subdials, and a grooved structure for the minute track—add depth.

Automatic movement with column wheel control and high power reserve

Inside, the automatic chronograph calibre FLC02 with column-wheel control, developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret, works. It offers a power reserve of 68 hours and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Traditional embellishments such as Côtes de Genève, circular graining, and blued screws underscore the brand's high standards. A skeletonised rotor with a decorated sunray pattern beautifully expresses this. The watches are water resistant to 100 metres and are complemented with either a rubber strap or a steel bracelet.

The Chief Chronograph in British Racing Green and Dune rubber strap versions are priced at Rs. 4,23,000, while the stainless steel bracelet models are priced at Rs. 4,33,000
