Swiss watchmaker Wenger launches its first e-commerce website in India

With the launch of its dedicated direct-to-consumer digital platform in India, Wenger becomes the first Swiss watch and travel-gear brand to take this route in the market
Swiss luxury watches in India are available through established retail networks like Ethos Watches, Kapoor Watch Co., Time Avenue, and the likes. Some brands even have standalone flagship boutiques located in luxury malls in metro cities. Wenger, a Swiss maker of watches and travel gear, is changing how India shops for luxury Swiss watches with a fully e-commerce enabled brand website in India — www.wenger.co.in.

With the launch of its dedicated direct-to-consumer digital platform in India, Wenger becomes the first Swiss watch and travel-gear brand to take this route in the market. Operating under the House of Victorinox since 2005, Wenger has retained a distinct identity rooted in Swiss pragmatism: functional design, dependable engineering, and honest pricing.

While Victorinox brought scale and technical depth, Wenger continued to focus on accessible Swiss-made watches and robust travel solutions—products designed for daily use rather than display cases. The new platform provides Indian consumers direct access to Wenger’s complete catalogue of Swiss-made timepieces and purpose-built travel gear. Clean navigation, secure payment infrastructure, reliable delivery, and structured after-sales support ensure that the buying experience matches the brand’s reputation for reliability.

As India evolves into a key market for entry-level and mid-premium Swiss watches, this digital-first approach positions Wenger strategically. The platform enables direct engagement with consumers while safeguarding authenticity—every product is certified original and backed by Swiss quality standards. Founded in 1893, Wenger has long stood for practical Swiss craftsmanship — precision engineering without excess, durability without ostentation.

About the launch Debraj Sengupta, Managing Director Sales & Marketing, Victorinox India, said: “Wenger has long been celebrated globally for its Swiss craftsmanship, superior quality, and functional yet stylish design ethos."

"By launching our own e-commerce platform in India, we are enabling consumers to experience authentic Wenger products directly from the brand. This marks a significant step in strengthening our footprint in a market that values trust, durability, and premium lifestyle experiences at an affordable price.”

Adding to this, Siddharth Mudaliar, National Manager for E-Business, Victorinox India, said “With the launch of Wenger’s dedicated e-commerce platform, we are deepening direct consumer engagement and making authentic Swiss craftsmanship more accessible. This initiative is central to our long-term digital and retail strategy for India.”
