Titan Watches’s new campaign, “Wear Your Story,” features the brand’s latest ambassadors, Vikrant Massey and P. V. Sindhu

The latest campaign reflects the passion and resilience that define the personal journeys of both the ambassadors
Titan Watches is India’s biggest watch brand and for the last few years it has been upping its game with the introduction of timepieces that have been gaining recognition in the international markets. With a view to create watches that grab the attention of the collector community, the brand recently introduced its first Wandering Hours watch and Jalsa by Nebula, a timepiece featuring a tourbillon and a miniature painting on its dial. Now, the brand’s latest campaign “Wear Your Story” featuring national award-winning actor Vikrant Massey and double Olympic medallist, badminton player, P.V. Sindhu is attracting attention. The campaign also introduces the two as brand ambassadors

Celebrating the spirit of individuality, the new campaign honours individuals who create their own legacy by standing apart and choosing to follow their passion. “My journey has never been about moving fast, but moving with honesty,” states Vikrant Massey, who is known for his roles in movies like 12th Fail, Sector 36, Love Hostel, Chappak, and more, in the campiagn.

His journey is reflected in the campaign by the Classique Micromotor 90179SM01 from the brand’s new Micromotors Collection. It’s a 43 mm stainless timepiece with an off-centred hour and small seconds on a textured dial and a moonphase at 2 o’clock. Powering the watch is the brand’s proprietary Micromotors movement. The collection features timepieces with retrograde day arcs to sun–moon indicators, and independent time rings.

For Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award awardee P.V. Sindhu, the campaign highlights her habit of showing up and choosing courage over comfort. “Grit and purpose create a style of its own,” says Sindhu. She is seen wearing a Titan Glamour Quartz watch (Ref. 95330wm01) a 37 mm stainless steel timepiece coated with rose-gold, from the Titan Aura Collection. The watch bezel is decorated with stones and displays a beautiful mother-of-pearl dial, and baton hour markers and a date window at 3 o’clock.

With over 40 years of legacy, Titan Watches has seen a sharp evolution in recent years, with its GPHG nomination two years in a row and the introduction of an in-house tourbillon. When I interviewed the new CEO of Titan’s Watches and Wearables division, Kuruvilla Markose, at the launch of the Wandering Hours along with Stellar 3.0 collection, about the brand’s vision for the coming years, he spoke about how the brand will "continue to expect growth. My focus is to push that, both in terms of creating products from a design perspective as well as from a horology perspective. We are also working on building a whole ecosystem of capabilities where the watch doesn't just become a device, but a solution. We are taking Titan outside of India into international trade. The premiumization journey that the India business was doing has given us a set of products that work well in international markets. And so as this journey continues”.
