Watches and Wonders 2026 Preview: Hautlence launches an earthy Sphere Series 4

The watch features a skeletonised dial and a sphere displaying jumping hours in a titanium case
Ahead of  Watches and Wonders 2026, Hautlence has introduced the Sphere Series 4 (Ref. DA82-TI01), continuing its approach to dynamic time display, with a touch of olive green and sand colour palette, inspired by natural and mineral materials.

The 37 x 45 mm watch features a rectangular titanium case with revised proportions and 10 ATM water resistance. Its construction follows the brand’s architectural design language. The key complication is the jumping-hour sphere, sand-coloured with a sandblasted texture, on the left side of the dial. The sphere rotates on three axes using a system of four bevel gears arranged on two crossed axes inclined at 21 degrees. This mechanism enables a continuous, multi-directional motion for the hour display. On the right side, the watch uses a retrograde minute display across a 180° scale with applied minute numerals in Globolight®. The hand snaps back instantly to zero after completing its arc, a defining technical feature of the brand.

The dial is fully skeletonised, exposing bridges, gear trains, and key movement components. The layout allows clear visibility of the sphere mechanism and the overall movement architecture. The crown sits at the traditional 3 o’clock bearing the brand’s logo. The watch is powered by the manual-winding A82 calibre, offering a 72-hour power reserve. It includes a hairspring developed by Precision Engineering AG. The openworked barrel allows the user to visually track mainspring tension and remaining energy. A built-in safety system prevents incorrect handling during time-setting, protecting the movement. The Sphere Series 4 focuses on mechanical display systems, combining multi-axis motion with retrograde indication in a single calibre. There is a clear caseback with “HAUTLENCE”, “10 ATM”, and “Suisse” engraving.

Limited to 28 pieces, the watch comes dressed in an olive green suede leather strap.
