British watchmaker Bremont is known for its tool watches, across categories of land, sea and air, so it makes perfect for the brand to partner as Offical Timing Partner for one of the biggest and most prestigious rowing regatta in the world and a premier event on the British summer social calendar. The event begins today and will go on till 5 July. The first day of the event is marked by Bremont releasing a limited-edition of 150 pieces dedicated to the race — Terra Nova Henley Royal Regatta Chronograph.
The watch is housed in a 42.5 mm satin and polished 904L stainless steel case measuring 48.8 mm lug-to-lug and 14.8 mm thick, with a 22 mm lug width. A bi-directional steel bezel fitted with a blue ceramic stroke counter insert reinforces its rowing-inspired functionality. Protecting the dial is a domed, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, while 100 metres (10 ATM) of water resistance ensures dependable everyday performance.
The colours on the watch are inspired by the official colours and sporting heritage of Henley Royal Regatta. There is a white lacquered dial featuring 3D blue Super-LumiNova® hour markers, matte blue sub-dials, polished rhodium-plated hour and minute hands filled with white Super-LumiNova®, a distinctive mint-green chronograph seconds hand, and gloss white chronograph counter hands for excellent readability.
At 6 o'clock, the Henley Royal Regatta logo appears above the date window, while, for the first time, "Henley-on-Thames" is printed on the dial—a tribute to the historic rowing town and the location of Bremont's 35,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, The Wing.
It is powered by the automatic BC77 movement, featuring 27 jewels, a Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring, and Nivaflex mainspring. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), it delivers a 62-hour power reserve. Its functions include central hours and minutes, a centre chronograph seconds hand, a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock, a small seconds display at 9 o'clock, and a date window positioned at 6 o'clock.
Buyers can choose between a matching 904L stainless steel bracelet or a blue embossed leather strap with white stitching.
