GPHG 2020: Open for Entries

Watch brands can officially enter the 2020 edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). Deadline for entries is July 31, 2020.

In the last few weeks, the newly founded GPHG Academy has kicked off the 20thedition of the industry’s leading award show with several hundred pre-selected models for the competition. Now the time has come for the brands to do the same: As of today, watch brands can officially enter the 2020 edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). Deadline for entries is July 31, 2020.

The Academy’s selection of watches (each member was “responsible for proposing 1 to 12 watches per category in at least 8 of the 14 categories of the GPHG”) are now being submitted to the watch brands, which can then decide whether or not they want to confirm the participation of the proposed watches, and/or enter other watches of their choice in the competition.

The 2020 list of award-winners will be revealed on Thursday November 12 at the 20th GPHG award ceremony. A new award introduced this year will also allow the Academy and the Jury to select an award-worthy smartwatch.
