Panerai’s latest Submersible Navy SEALs PAM01738

Following up on the release at Watches and Wonders 2026, the watch pushes the boundaries of technical prowess in professional diving watches
Panerai continues its tradition of blending military heritage with modern horology, unveiling the latest addition to its esteemed Navy SEALs collection: the Submersible Navy SEALs PAM01738.

Since the launch of the Navy SEALs collection in September 2022, Panerai has used this platform to push the boundaries of technical prowess in professional diving watches. The collection, which spans both Submersible and Luminor models, has previously showcased advanced materials like Carbotech™ and Titanium. The new PAM01738 joins this lineage, continuing a trajectory that recently included the debut of the Submersible Navy SEALs Afniotech™ Experience Edition PAM01089 at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2026.

“Through the Submersible Navy SEALs PAM01738, we continue to build upon our military heritage by creating contemporary tool watches that honor our legacy of designing precision instruments for survival and adventure. This new tool watch reflects our heritage through a contemporary lens, ready to accompany its owners through the toughest conditions”, states Alessandro Ficarelli, Chief Marketing and Heritage Officer of Panerai.

It is a 44 mm watch encased in steel featuring a shaded anthracite dial. Upon which sit luminescent hour markers and hands that are 45% brighter than standard. In low light, the watch uses two colours to help you read time: hour markers glow green, while the minute hand and the dot on the bezel glow blue. The watch features a unidirectional rotating bezel with a matte black ceramic ring, making the bezel highly resistant to scratches, shocks, and daily wear and tear.

It is powered by the P.980  automatic movement, which holds a 3-day power reserve. A key feature is the "stop-second" function, which lets you halt the second hand when adjusting the time—a military-inspired tool for perfect synchronisation. Featuring a rubberised crown, it is water-resistant up to 500 metres.

The watch includes specific design nods to the Navy SEALs, a target-style small seconds counter, and subtle yellow accents. The insignia of the Navy SEALs is engraved on the back, and the watch comes with two straps: a durable black rubber strap for diving and a rugged grey canvas strap for everyday wear. Price is available upon request.
