2020 marks the 175th anniversary of watchmaking in Glashütte. Celebrating this momentous ocassion is the Bauhaus-inspired watch brand Nomos Glashütte. The German brand introduces the Lambda enamel in white, black and blue. This marks the second major release from the German brand. Earlier in the year, Nomos Glashütte had introduced three limited-edition versions of a classic model – the NOMOS Ludwig.
Perfect for everyday wear, the newly launched Nomos Glashütte Lambda marks the 175th anniversary of watchmaking history. Crafted in stainless steel, the three limited edition timepieces is now available in a new size, dials like enamel white, blue and black and technologically innovative. The enamel gloss of the dials offer an optical depth that is rare to find. Its houses a power reserve indicator that sweeps an arc across the dial and tracks 84 hours. The needle-thin hands set against the minimalist dial is simple and aesthetically pleasing.
The Nomos Glashütte Lambda is powered by the powerful DUW 1001 which is the first caliber to bear the title “Deutsche Uhrenwerke NOMOS Glashütte.” Each version of the Nomos Glashütte Lambda is strapped to black leather strap and is limited to 175 pieces each.
