Dubai Watch Week 2025: ArtyA releases a world first four-colour sapphire crystal bezel

The launch includes two models: one with a quadricolour bezel, another encased entirely in a green sapphire crystal
For Dubai Watch Week 2025, ArtyA unveils two unique creations featuring coloured sapphire crystal — including one with a bezel in four distinct hues despite being crafted from a single block of crystal, a first in watchmaking and another limited edition model of 10 pieces with a case crafted entirely in emerald green sapphire. In recent years, the innovative Geneva-based brand has turned its attention to coloured sapphire crystal cases, pushing the material further than ever.

Unique piece with 4-colour sapphire crystal bezel

For Dubai Watch Week 2025, Artya is introducing a world first : a sapphire crystal bezel in four different colors. Here, too, it is NanoSapphire that makes this spectacle possible. On the AS-DWW25-01 , a unique piece, one section of the unidirectional rotating ring is finished in red, green, black, and transparent. The colors are inspired by the flag of the United Arab Emirates, with the transparent sapphire representing white. The flag is also featured in the lower part of the dial, below two lines of Arabic script meaning "Limited Edition" and "Dubai Edition," respectively. Together with the dial made of natural aventurine, whose sparkle evokes the desert night sky, this creates a spectacular image. To complement this, the three hands for hours, minutes, and seconds are coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9, ensuring excellent legibility in all lighting conditions. The center of the 41 mm case is made of deep black sapphire crystal.

Limited edition with green bezel

In addition to the one-of-a-kind piece, Artya has created another, similar model, produced in a limited edition of 10. The AS-DWW25-02 features a monochrome bezel made of emerald green sapphire crystal. The same applies to the dial and hands mentioned above, except that the center section of the 41 mm case is made of green sapphire crystal. Both models are water-resistant to 60 meters and powered by the automatic G100 caliber from the Swiss manufacturer La Joux-Perret, which boasts a 68-hour power reserve. The movement is visible from the back of each: through a slightly tinted sapphire crystal in the one-of-a-kind piece, and through a green sapphire crystal in the limited edition of 10. All sapphire crystals are hand-finished in Artya's workshops. The pin buckle for the black rubber strap is available with or without a black DLC coating, depending on preference.
