Phillips Hosts Horological Art Exhibition

Featuring an exceptional collection of 30 Automatic Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watches, Phillips, in association with Bacs & Russo is hosting the first-of-its-kind Horological Art Exhibition from 11th - 14th May, 2017.

Paying tribute to one of the most revered collectors' timepieces, the Automatic Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, the Horological Art Exhibition will be held alongside the Geneva Watch Auction: Five. The extraordinary collection of timepieces has been curated by Pucci Papaleo – widely recognised as Mr. Daytona – who has been working on the highly anticipated book, “Daytona Perpetual”, a prototype of which will be launched in November 2017.

The book will also contain some of the most rare and exceptionally beautiful examples of the model, caught on camera, by the eminent Italian watch photographer, Fabio Santinelli. These will be on display during the exhibition, along with 30 exceptional automatic Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watches.

The 30 privately owned, rare Daytona watches will range from sporty stainless steel to elegant gold versions, as well as rare examples set with precious stones. Some of the rare variants will also include examples fitted with porcelain dials from the earliest years of production, as well as retailer signed models, included ones signed by Tiffany & Co.
