Lately, several brands have refreshed their collections with fun and colourful timepieces for the summer, meant to echo the breeziness of the season. While here in India we are well into the monsoons, it doesn’t hurt that watches from brands like Hublot, Studio UnderD0g, Norqain, Rado, Baume & Mercier, Bamford, Christopher Ward, and Baltic, offer a bright take this season.
1. Hublot
Hublot’s hot release for the summer was the new Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 (Ref. 441.ES.5199.RX), a 100-piece limited edition in orange and Mediterranean blue. Read more about the watch here.

2. Studio UnderD0g
The British watch brand is known for its playful aesthetics, has launched the Av0cado (Gen 3) limited edition and Glucam0le(Gen 3) limited edition, which stand out immediately with their fun designs. The 38.5mm stainless steel watches are powered by the brand’s exclusive manual winding Calibre ST-1901B, developed in collaboration with Seagull. Check them out here.

3. Norqain
Norqian’s new Freedom 60 Chrono Enjoy Life Special Edition is refreshing and full of summer vibes. The 40mm 316L stainless steel watch features colourful subdials and a whimsical ice cream on the date window, which appears on every seventh day, to remind you to have fun. From the open caseback, one can see the NORQAIN automatic movement calibre N19, which boasts a 62-hour power reserve, while the sapphire crystal features the words ‘Enjoy Life’ Special Edition’ against the print of an ice cream.

4. Baltic
Baltic’s new Hermetique Summer collection features a vibrant palette. The brand has introduced four 37mm summer iterations in pink, orange, yellow, and turquoise, inspired by the effervescent California of the 70s. The watches feature a slim 10.8 mm profile and can be worn with colourful vulcanised rubber straps or with a stainless steel bracelet. 5. Christopher Ward
The British premium watch brand Christopher Ward has launched five new 360 Trident Reef watches inspired by the endangered coral reefs. The new iterations include - Acro White, Chalice Green, Galaxea Black, Helio Blue, and Tuba Orange. Created in collaboration with the Blue Marine Foundation, an ocean preservation charity sponsored by the brand, the watches are available in 41mm and 44mm sizes and are water resistant up to 200 metres. Powering the models is the automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement.

6. Bamford
Bamford’s new Automatic GMT watches now come in the brand’s own unique colourways. Five new models feature dials in cool combinations, including sherbet yellow and flamingo pink, azure blue and aquamarine, bubble gum and magenta pink, Caribbean blue and flame orange, seafoam green and jungle green. All are 40 mm stainless steel models, powered by an automatic Sellita movement SW330-2, boasting a 55-hour power reserve. The watches are water resistant up to 100 metres. 7. Rado Anatom
Rado welcomes zesty summer shades with a colourful trio of Anatoms featuring Lemon, Lime, and Grapefruit editions. The watches bring seasonal freshness to the wrist with bright rubber straps and matching dégradé dials. 8. Baume & Mercier
Baume & Mercier’s popular Riviera collection now includes three summer-time pastel shades in Argent chaud or hot silver (Riviera 10810), pink (Riviera 10812), and light blue (Riviera 10811). The 33mm steel watches feature a dial decorated with transparent waves. These quartz watches have a water resistance of 50 meters.
