Siddhant Chaturvedi, brand ambassador, Ulysse Nardin

Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who was last seen in the much-talked-about Amazon Prime Video's Gehraiyaan, has been announced as Ulysse Nardin’s brand ambassador for India.

Swiss watchmaker Ulysse Nardin has announced Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi as its brand ambassador for India. The 29-year-old actor, who shot to fame after his debut in Gully Boy (2019), will promote the watch brand across the country.

Albeit only three films old in Bollywood, Chaturvedi will now be representing the 176-year-old Swiss watchmaker, in India. The association comes on the heels of the actor's February release, Gehraiyaan, where he sported the Ulysse Nardin Diver. “Siddhant Chaturvedi is a youth icon, charming and brimming with energy, adventure, and a go-getter attitude. He is also a role model for young India, making this partnership a winning match,” says the company’s General Manager, Middle East, and India, Teresa Garin.

The actor has also expressed his excitement about partnering with Ulysse Nardin. “I’m spellbound by the work they do; in-house from conception, design, development, and crafting through to production. They’ve truly set a global benchmark and they constantly reach for the sky, which is a personal representation for everything I believe in and hope to achieve.”

Although the actor is quite new to the film industry, he has already garnered an ardent fan following. For his supporting role in Gully Boy, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and a nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. The second movie released last year, Bunty Aur Babli 2, starring Rani Mukherji and Saif Ali Khan.

Founded in 1846, the Ulysse Nardin is recognised for its innovation and skillful craftsmanship, personified by the Freak and Diver series. Not only this, Ulysse Nardin is also known for its in-house expertise in producing its high-precision components and movements. The company also plays an active role in protecting the world’s oceans by focusing on two major areas: Encouraging upcycling to reduce marine plastic pollution and developing scientific knowledge concerning the preservation of sharks.
