Hublot, along with retail partner Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, has revealed two new timepieces - a 42mm Classic Fusion Black Magic Dubai Watch Week (Ref. 542.CM.1199.LR.DWW23) and a 38mm Classic Fusion Black Magic Diamonds Dubai Watch Week (Ref.565.CM.1199.LR.1200.DWW23), both limited to 50 pieces. The watches are meticulously designed in collaboration with Wissam Shawkat, an award winning calligraphist.
The novelties are crafted in black ceramic and feature distinctive bezels - the larger case watch has a satin-finished black ceramic bezel, while the smaller case version features a polished black anodized aluminium bezel set with 36 black diamonds. The calligraphy done in rich bright orange, blue, green, and red on the dials reads “Al Zaman” and “Al Waqt”, which means time in Arabic, depicting the fusion between the watch brand and Arabian culture.
Powering the timepieces is the automatic calibre HUB1110 beating at a frequency of 4Hz and offering a power reserve of about 42-hours. The Classic Fusion Black Magic Dubai Watch Week models are fitted with an alligator strap with a black steel deployant buckle. The watches are water resistant up to 50 metres.
