Taking cues from the blue-lit skyline of Dubai, TAG Heuer has presented a new timepiece, the Carrera Tourbillon H02T Dubai Skyline Limited Edition, at the ongoing Dubai Watch Week. The watch is exclusively created for the event’s host city and is limited to twelve pieces.
Crafted in black PVD-coated titanium grade 2 case, the 45mm watch features an anthracite multilayered skeletonized dial with blue coloured elements. The outer flange of the dial has the seconds/minute track. The minute counter tests at 3, the flying tourbillon at 6, and the hours counter at 9 o’clock. The chronograph pushers are found at 2 and 4 o’clock. The faceted applied indices and the rhodium-plated facetted, polished hour and minute hands are all applied with white Super-LumiNova®. The central seconds hand and the TAG Heuer applied logo are plated with rhodium. The bezel boasts the tachymeter with “U.A.E” initials referring to the exclusive edition for the city.
The blued sapphire caseback features the skyline motif of Dubai and gives a partial view of the COSC-certified automatic Calibre Heuer 02T Tourbillon that offers 65 hours of power reserve. “"DUBAI LIMITED EDITION" and ‘XX/12’ are also inscribed on the caseback.
The timepiece comes with a matte black alligator and leather strap sewn on black rubber with black stitching details. Water resistance offered by the watch is 100 metres.
